In Sacra Maioritas, you enter the secluded world of the papal conclave, where whispered intrigue and silent devotion determine who will become the new leader of the Church. Ten rituals form the heartbeat of each round, and with every prayer spoken, a candle goes out. When the final light dies, the heavens fall silent and it becomes clear whose word held the greatest weight.

The game revolves around a sacred wheel of ten open cards, where players decide which faction sets the tone. Each player then chooses whether to follow that voice or defy it by playing a different card. Sometimes faith wins through sheer numbers, sometimes reason triumphs in a tie, and sometimes a single brave soul seizes power with an unexpected coup. Each faction carries its own blessing and curse, making every outcome unique and every choice meaningful.

But not every voice may speak. A silent seal slowly moves around the circle, forbidding a different faction each time. Whoever nevertheless chooses that path sacrifices influence to break the silence and leads a coup against heaven itself — a risky but potentially triumphant moment that can turn the tide of the game

After ten rituals, the round ends, the cards are refreshed, and the struggle begins anew. After three rounds, the player with the greatest influence is crowned Pontifex.

Sacra Maioritas is a game of timing, bluffing, and sacred boldness: elegant, duel-like, and charged with quiet tension.
