“Via Peregrina was a delightful surprise. It offers a satisfying challenge, and if you enjoy this type of game, you’ll keep coming back to it again and again. This is simply a game that begs to be played!”
Via Peregrina is a solo card-based puzzle game in which you take on the role of a pilgrim attempting to visit seven sacred shrines before becoming too burdened or exhausting the deck. Each turn, a card from your hand is added to the Journey, forming either an ascending or descending path. Following the current direction keeps the route smooth, while breaking with it adds burdens, one of the game’s key loss conditions. Resets through high or low values allow you to bend the route back the other way, often at exactly the right moment to complete shrine patterns.
